ABOUT
The Liltin Lassies is a fun and friendly community singing group for women, based in Dunblane.
The Liltin Lassies started in 2007 and since then has become a group where women of different ages, backgrounds and paths can come together to have fun and enjoy singing in a relaxed yet enthusiastic atmosphere. In 2010, the group was a nominee in Community Project of the Year Category at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
We sing a wide range of songs, with particular focus on Scots and traditional song, however we also cover a diverse range of songs from other genres, including gospel, world, rock and pop.
We meet weekly and occasionally perform at local and charity events, visit other groups and festivals, as well as meeting socially. For more details on how to join us, please see the Join page.
The group is organised and taught by Amy Lord, a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formally the RSAMD) who has over 15 years experience of working in Community music.
